How to create a beautiful & selling Landing Page – Part 2
On the first most important component of a successful Landing Page, you read in my previous article â Part 1. Content. If not – it’s here. Now let’s move to the second, but no less significant part – design. 2.1 The product Â in action
Product Image in the header or on the first screen – that’s it. If you understand all the folly of writing empty, not supported by the text, the pay is the time to create a bright and colorful pictures of goods in the cap. Take it enough time. Experiment, improve the product or service in Photoshop as long as you get a decent result.
Very often, I have seen such a shame, as the rotten-looking pizza in a cap, black and white picture of a vehicle, flying in the air a strange device and other errors. It is necessary to make the product or service it wanted to buy. If this is the pizza, let it be so appetizing, with processed cheese, bright that it will want to eat immediately. Add color product haze, crispy crust. Display product in action. If this is an application for mobile devices – foto user with a phone and your board or, at worst, download Mockup PSD with a phone in his hand and put a screenshot of the application running. Food displays a bright, hot and ready to eat. This should be a cap. In addition, it would be good to put the video with the presentation of the product. Laconic title, the button and the product in action…
2.2 The call to action button on the first screen
Here or anything complicated – place the button call to action (“Order wheels”) on the first screen. This, of course, does not mean that it is not necessary to place the item where no more, just try to make sure that coming to the site visitor saw an opportunity to buy goods or order the service directly.
Do not forget to duplicate button call to action for the entire page, but do it wisely. It will look pretty stupid this button in each section, after each item. Do not overdo it.
2.3 Forget pop-up
Forget pop-up that are popping up regardless of the will of the user. This relic of the development of the industry, unfortunately, sometimes still occur. If the first few days you may notice some increase in orders, then after a while you will form a very negative impression on the audience. If you intend to work in the market for a long time and successfully – Do not use a pop-up.
There is no question of a pop-up form that appear when you click on a button call to action buttons, clicking on which the user performs by himself. Controlled pop form working quite well and do not irritate the visitor.
2.4 Do not make a lot of fields in forms
All that is needed landing page is to collect contact and send it to a processing manager. Do not add extra feedback form field. Name, phone. Possibly, E-mail, according to circumstances. But no more.
2.5 Do not hesitate to show the faces, addresses and telephone numbers
Trite, but man, if he sees the landing page – card, phone or pictures of staff, subconsciously he had confidence in the project. I often have to convince customers not to hesitate to show off the organization, location, and phones. Apparently, the echoes of the 90s are felt and the habit of hiding, if only bought and unbind, originated in this period, after the collapse of the Union, when there were hard times and “We survived as best they could.”
The landing page must be pictures of managers, phones, and real contacts. The map is obligatory if the firm has a permanent address.
2.6 Place the logos of famous brands
If the company for which you are developing your landing page, somehow worked with well-known brands, use the services appliances – make sure the bottom of the page listing them. Usually, this section is called “Our partners.”
