Metrome, design for public transport— Case Study
The human being responds to external and internal stimuli through the nervous system that determines behavior as a reaction to a specific situation that is being experienced. Music is an integral part of this process as an element developed in symbiosis with humans. You can define music as a sound that conveys emotions, and this is the main point of the project.
Metrome project places the person at the center of a system making it a productive organ of emotional states, this happens thanks to the rhythm that each of us produces in everyday life.
Metrome is a system built on a generative data-driven design, an information exchange that generates value through everyday life. People, using a wearable device to validate tickets or passes, contribute with the heart beats measured, to the generation of a rhythm, associated with a monitoring of the turnout generates an emotion linked to that specific daily hour.
Emotion generated during that hour becomes a central element interacting with all the system interpreters.
